I narrowed down my search to a couple of models, Alesis Q49 and M-Audio KeyStation 49es. Let's say I will mainly use this instrument to compose music with VSTs and such (like, for example, NI's Komplete and so on.).
I want to buy a cheap MIDI controller to start learning how to play the piano a bit, and in the future I would like to compose something too. The total beginner about audio gear is back and needs your help.
